Occupational Therapist Assistant — San Antonio, TX
About the Role
As a San Antonio OTA, you carry out OT plans of care, document in our EMR, and partner with supervising OTs. Geographic flexibility across Bexar County and surrounding Hill Country suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver OT interventions prescribed by supervising OTs
- Document patient visits in our proprietary EMR
- Maintain active communication with OTs
- Educate bilingual caregivers on transfers and daily-living strategies
- Progress patients through OT plans
- Cover assigned San Antonio sub-areas
- Participate in team in-services
Requirements
- Active Texas OTA license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Comfortable with mobile EMR
