Our Story
With the heart of a healer and the spirit of a crusader for freedom, quality of life, and a better healthcare system, our founder started as an occupational therapist—this field being the oldest therapy and the broadest, where she could apply both her medical, neurological, and psychiatric studies and interests.
She was acknowledged as the most trusted and successful starting intern with the most challenging cases at the Miami VA and Jackson Memorial Burn Unit. Continuing that to the north, she earned the first ever perfect score in intern performance and outcomes at Milwaukee Mental Health Center.
Her continued trailblazing in Texas and nationally led to the planning and implementation of new hospitals, rehab units, and first-ever centers of all types. To improve patient services, conditions for clinicians, and reimbursement for companies, she served on the committees that drafted the state licensure law for OT and served as state liaison to Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors.
She has formed many groups to assist the disabled (called “ability groups”) and supported causes to improve all aspects of healthcare, functional independence, and ease for patients, caregivers, and those clinicians and companies who service them.
Claire is also a member of the international healthcare coalition created by Dr. Joe Dispenza, participating in alternative healings voluntarily and at no charge for patients who have not found answers anywhere else in healthcare.
