Our Story
Universal Rehab was founded on Independence Day decades ago with the intention to serve patients where needed. From day one, the company was built to do things differently, bringing licensed, multidisciplinary care directly to the people who need it most. This has included expansion to underserved communities over the years.
Today, Universal Rehab is the longest-running local health and rehabilitation company of its kind. Our team coordinates physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, dietary, nursing, behavioral, respiratory, and supportive services across Texas—partnering with home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, group homes, and healthcare organizations of every size. A proprietary EMR system and a 24/7 on-call setup keep our clinicians and clients connected in real time, while our office and field staff—many of whom have been with us for decades—bring the kind of experience and dedication that can’t be manufactured.
