Why Universal Rehab in Houston
PTAs on our Houston team aren't afterthoughts — you're part of the plan-of-care conversation. Our PTs stay engaged with every assistant visit through shared EMR notes, quick calls when something changes, and regular in-services. You'll deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions backed by a team that answers when you call.
What Physical Therapy Assistance Looks Like in Houston
Houston's geography means PTA work here is a mobile role: patients in Memorial one morning, Pearland in the afternoon, and Sugar Land the next day. The volume and diversity of home-health needs across the Texas Medical Center catchment and the broader Houston metro give PTAs a chance to see stroke recovery, post-surgical orthopedic cases, Parkinson's progression, and cardiac rehab within the same week. That breadth is rare — most clinic settings show you one patient population on repeat. Home-health PTA work in Houston keeps your hands-on skills sharp and your clinical reasoning exercised.
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
- Flexible caseload sized to your life — full-time, part-time, or per-diem
- Competitive per-visit compensation with weekly payroll
- Geographic sub-area preferences honored (inner Loop, west Houston, or north Houston corridors)
- Proprietary mobile EMR that travels with you visit-to-visit
- Real referral incentive program for active clinicians
- Direct access to supervising PTs — no gatekeepers
