  • Document patient visits in our proprietary EMR on day of service
  • Maintain active communication with OTs through shared notes
  • Educate caregivers on transfers, adaptive strategies, and daily-living routines
  • Progress patients through OT plans under supervision
  • Cover patients across assigned Dallas sub-areas
  • Participate in team in-services and annual competency reviews

  • Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable with mobile EMR

Why Universal Rehab in Dallas

Dallas OTAs on our team get real clinical partnership with the OTs they work under — not token task delegation. Our occupational therapy service line is run by an OT-founded company, so OTA work here is treated as central to care, not peripheral.

What OTA Work Looks Like in Dallas

Dallas's home-health caseload keeps OTAs varied. Mornings might bring ADL retraining with a stroke recovery patient in Oak Cliff, afternoons a hand therapy home-exercise session in Richardson, then a pediatric OT visit in Plano. The metro's healthcare landscape — including systems like Baylor Scott & White and Texas Health Resources — drives steady post-acute OT demand, and Dallas' aging population provides consistent demand for aging-in-place interventions. You'll stay mobile, but our routing helps you structure days so you're not zig-zagging across the metro.

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits

  • Flexible full-time, part-time, or per-diem schedules
  • Weekly direct-deposit payroll
  • Dedicated supervising OT you'll actually partner with
  • Proprietary mobile EMR
  • Sub-area coverage you help choose
  • Active referral incentive program
