Occupational Therapist — Tyler, TX
About the Role
Our Tyler-area OTs practice the full OT scope. You design plans, perform home safety assessments, collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, and document in our proprietary EMR. One-on-one patient time and no productivity caps.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat OT patients in their homes across Smith County
- Design plans for ADL retraining, upper-extremity rehab, cognitive recovery, and home safety
- Conduct home safety assessments and recommend adaptive equipment
- Support patients with emotional, psychological, and psychiatric disorders
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team on shared patients
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR
- Educate caregivers on transfers and adaptive strategies
Requirements
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Experience with cognitive rehab, hand therapy, or IDD valued
- Comfortable with mobile EMR
