Why Universal Rehab in Lubbock
Lubbock OTs joining our team work inside an OT-founded company. Our occupational therapy service line covers the full OT scope, and Lubbock's catchment area gives you steady volume across post-acute, aging-in-place, and IDD work.
What Occupational Therapy Looks Like in Lubbock
Lubbock's healthcare anchor is Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and University Medical Center, with Covenant Health and Grace Medical Center adding capacity. Home-health OT here covers post-stroke ADL retraining, post-hand-surgery recovery (a notable share given the area's agricultural injuries), aging-in-place work in long-time Lubbock neighborhoods, and IDD home-habilitation through Texas HHSC waiver programs. Continuity of care across the full recovery arc is a real feature in this market — you'll often see patients from acute discharge to discharge from home-health.
