Speech-Language Pathologist — Lubbock, TX
About the Role
Our Lubbock-area SLPs work across the full SLP scope. Shared-patient rounds with our RDs and OTs are routine, and West Texas patient continuity makes the work especially rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Coordinate dysphagia cases with our in-house registered dietitians
- Provide AAC evaluation and device training
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR
- Collaborate with OT, PT, and nursing on shared patients
- Educate patients and caregivers on home carryover
- Cover Lubbock and South Plains catchment
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP license + ASHA CCC
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation comfortable with West Texas distances
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Dysphagia experience strongly valued
