About the Role
Our Killeen-area SLPs work across the full SLP scope, with a meaningful share of cognitive-communication work serving veterans and TBI patients from the Fort Cavazos community.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Coordinate dysphagia cases with our in-house registered dietitians
- Provide AAC evaluation and device training
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR
- Collaborate with OT, PT, and nursing on shared patients
- Educate patients and caregivers on home carryover
- Cover Killeen and surrounding Bell County catchment
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP license + ASHA CCC
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Cognitive-communication or TBI experience valued
- Bilingual Spanish appreciated
