About the Role
Our Killeen-area OTs practice the full OT scope. The Fort Cavazos community brings post-deployment cognitive and PTSD-related cases that benefit from skilled OT intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat OT patients in their homes across Bell County
- Design plans for ADL retraining, upper-extremity rehab, cognitive recovery, and home safety
- Conduct home safety assessments and recommend adaptive equipment
- Support patients with emotional, psychological, and psychiatric disorders
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team on shared patients
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR
- Educate caregivers on transfers and adaptive strategies
Requirements
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Experience with cognitive rehab, TBI, or veteran populations valued
- Comfortable with mobile EMR
