Speech-Language Pathologist — Dallas, TX
About the Role
Our Dallas SLPs work across the full profession — pediatric speech delays, adult post-stroke aphasia, dysphagia, voice therapy, and AAC. Our interdisciplinary integration means dysphagia cases get coordinated safe-swallow + texture-modified-diet plans, not siloed recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in the home
- Coordinate dysphagia cases with our in-house registered dietitians
- Provide AAC evaluation and device training where needed
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR on day of service
- Collaborate with OT, PT, and nursing through shared-patient rounds
- Educate patients and family caregivers on home carryover strategies
- Cover Dallas County and surrounding North Texas suburbs
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP license + ASHA CCC
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (home health, acute, or school preferred)
- Dysphagia experience strongly valued; voice and AAC specialty a plus
- Bilingual Spanish appreciated
