Physical Therapist Assistant — Austin, TX
About the Role
As an Austin PTA, you deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer training to home-health patients, document in our proprietary mobile EMR, and stay in active communication with supervising PTs. Weekly payroll and a steady caseload across Austin’s growth corridors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed PT interventions in patients’ homes across the Austin metro
- Progress patients through plans of care under PT supervision
- Document every visit in our mobile EMR
- Maintain active communication with supervising PTs
- Educate caregivers on home exercise programs
- Cover assigned sub-areas — North Austin, Round Rock/Cedar Park, South Austin/Buda-Kyle, or East Austin
- Participate in team in-services
Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
