Physical Therapist — Kaufman, TX
About the Role
As a Kaufman-area PT, you serve a fast-growing DFW exurban community with a stable home-health caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in their homes across Kaufman County
- Design plans of care for post-surgical, stroke, cardiac, and chronic-pain patients
- Coordinate with our in-house OTs, SLPs, RDs, RNs, and LCSWs on shared patients
- Deliver gait training, balance retraining, and functional mobility work
- Educate caregivers on transfers and home exercise programs
- Document visits in our proprietary EMR on day of service
- Cover Kaufman, Forney, Terrell, and surrounding Kaufman County communities
Requirements
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid Texas driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (home health preferred)
- Comfortable with mobile EMR
