Why Universal Rehab in Fort Worth
Fort Worth home-health SLPs typically work alone. Our model is different — shared-patient rounds with OTs and dietitians happen routinely, and dysphagia plans integrate safe-swallow strategies with texture-modified meal plans. Learn more about our speech pathology service line.
What Speech Pathology Looks Like in Fort Worth
Fort Worth's healthcare anchors include JPS Health Network and Texas Health Harris Methodist, which support steady post-stroke and post-surgical SLP demand across the metro. Cook Children's anchors pediatric SLP needs in the region; pediatric speech delay cases also flow through Texas Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and the surrounding school-district programs. Dysphagia caseload stays steady given Tarrant County's aging population and the volume of stroke and Parkinson's cases. AAC evaluations come up alongside school-based programs and adult neurological-disease cases.
Schedule, Pay, and Benefits
- Caseload size you control — SLP visits often run longer, we respect that
- Weekly direct-deposit payroll
- Proprietary EMR with SLP-specific templates
- CEU support for dysphagia, voice, and AAC certifications
- Interdisciplinary rounds with RDs and OTs
- Active referral incentive program for clinicians on payroll
