About the Role

Home health SLP's have a rewarding PRN opportunity here choosing their geographical areas of work, caseloads and schedules. There even is few opportunities left for tele-therapy visits along with your other visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluating levels of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties using standardized tests and observation. Treatment Planning & Implementation: Developing and executing tailored treatment plans to address specific functional needs, such as articulation, language processing, or feeding. Dysphagia Management: Working with patients to develop and strengthen muscles for improved swallowing safety and function. Communication Training: Teaching techniques to enhance verbal communication, improve sentence structure, and maintain fluency (e.g., stuttering reduction). Adaptive Technology: Recommending and training patients on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. Documentation & Collaboration: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records on patient progress, as well as collaborating with doctors, teachers, and family members

Requirements

  • SLP-CCC TX License with clinical experience, CPR certified able to work in US for any employer.
